Starr
Orthodontic Technician

Starr first became interested in orthodontics thanks to a show she loved as a kid — Braceface — and now she gets to be part of real smile transformations every day. She especially loves seeing patients grow more confident as their treatment progresses.

With family roots in Cuba and Florida, Starr brings a calm but quietly funny energy to the office. She loves snow so much she swears she could live in an igloo, and when she’s not at work, she enjoys photo shoots, watching Courage the Cowardly Dog, and hanging out with her Pomeranian, Sir Poofy. She’s also a big fan of mac and cheese and chocolate milk — simple joys that always make her smile.

Laura’s interest in orthodontics began when she had braces in high school and became fascinated by the process of moving teeth. Inspired by her own smile transformation, she pursued a career in dentistry and earned her Associate of Science degree in Dental Hygiene from Bristol Community College.

Originally from Somerset, Massachusetts, Laura enjoys reading, puzzles, camping, skiing, and spending time at the beach. She loves visiting family in Maine, spending time with her dog Winston, and supporting her daughter, who will be attending Rhode Island College.

Laura’s favorite part of her job is helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles and being part of their orthodontic journey.

Nova loves that orthodontics gives him the chance to get to know patients and hear their stories. He enjoys helping create a positive experience while learning about the people behind every smile, and his fun personality helps put patients at ease along the way.
A Rhode Island native who grew up in Cranston, Nova enjoys spending his free time outdoors, whether that’s relaxing at the beach or exploring local trails and wilderness walks. He also has a serious sweet tooth and is always happy to indulge in a good dessert.
When he’s not at the office, you’ll likely find him reading—his favorite book is The Institute by Stephen King—or spending time with his dog, Bruno, and his cat, Bob.

Bryanna was born and raised in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, and worked in several areas of the medical field before joining Providence Orthodontics. She loves learning new things whenever she gets the chance and enjoys helping patients feel confident about their smiles. Others would describe her as curious, enthusiastic, adaptable, and willing.

Outside the office, Bryanna enjoys reading, all kinds of pasta, and the occasional Oreo McFlurry. She hopes to visit Puerto Rico for the first time someday and is a fan of Friends and The Notebook. Her biggest sources of joy are her 4-year-old daughter and her 1-year-old German Shepherd.

Robin has been working in the orthodontic field for over 45 years! She oversees the practice as the Office Manager, using her vast experience having worked in both the clinical and administrative departments. Robin is a “people person” who loves to connect with our patients and parents. Although she is Italian, she hates tomatoes and enjoys letting her husband do most of the cooking. Her favorite pastimes include being Nana to her two grandsons and going to the beach, preferably in the Caribbean!

Lara joined the Providence Orthodontics Team in 2019. Her warm smile and friendly personality put our patients at ease during their office visits. A bit of a “foodie,” Lara likes to try new restaurants and her favorite ice cream flavor is Graham Central Station. In her free time, she likes to watch movies and one day plans to travel the world.
