We’re so excited to welcome you to our practice. On your first visit to our office, diagnostic records are taken to determine the best course of treatment. Complete diagnostic records typically include a medical/dental history, clinical evaluation, photos of the patient’s face and teeth, and a 3D radiograph. This information is used to develop a customized treatment plan for each patient. These records are also helpful in tracking the progress of treatment as the teeth move under orthodontic care.
After Dr. Collins has evaluated your records, she and her team will discuss your treatment with you in detail, including the cost and expected treatment time for your particular case. We will also share a summary of Dr. Collins’ findings and any recommended treatment with your dentist, including copies of the photos and x-ray taken. We pride ourselves in keeping your dental office up to date throughout your orthodontic care, not only at the beginning of treatment but also along the way with shared x-rays and progress reports.
